The 11 revolutionary prisoners from Turkey – Ali Ercan Gökoğlu, Burak Ağarmış, Hasan Kaya, Sinan Çam, Şadi Naci Özpolat, Halil Demir, Anıl Sayar, Sinan Oktay Özen, İsmail Zat, Harika Kızılkaya and Hazal Seçer – started an indefinite hunger strike on 7 October 2022 demanding a fair trial.
Starting today, Saturday 12 November, I am going on a one-week hunger strike in support of their struggle.
Their trial will begin on Wednesday 16 November in the courtroom of Koridallos Prison.
I also express my solidarity with the (Italian) anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito, who has been on hunger strike since 20 October against the torture regime of article 41-bis, and anarchists Anna Beniamino, Juan Sorroche Fernandez and Ivan Alocco, who are on hunger strike together with him.
