1-Anti-Imperialist Front’s 20th Anniversary Peoples Unity Against Imperialist Aggression Symposium took place in Athens between 7th to 9th October dedicated to 11 revolutionaries from Turkey imprisoned in Greece.
2-A hunger strike is initiated on the first day of the symposium, 7th October, by the 11 revolutionaries from Turkey imprisoned in Greece at the order of fascism in Turkey and EU and US imperialism.
3-Sibel Balac whom was on death fast resistance for fair trial and justice has been released on 12th October after the prosecutor’s office decided to postpone her sentence due to her resistance and health conditions
4-Palestinian writer and founders of the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement Khaled Barakat and Samidoun International Coordinator Charlotte Kates were detained and denied entry to the European Schengen zone at Schiphol airport ahead of the Masar Badil March for Liberation and Return of Palestinians in Brussels. Then they were deported back to Canada after interrogated.
5-October 29th in Vancouver, the March for Return and Liberation for Palestine was organized by an alliance of local anti-imperialist organizations including Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network Vancouver , Canada Palestine Association , BAYAN Canada and the Vancouver Workers’ Assembly
6-The week-long 5th Internationalist Revolutionary Poetry Festival was organised in Bari, Italy. The festival was organised in support of Sardinian poet and rapper Bakis Beks, who is on trial for his lyrics against military bases.
